We've got about an hour left. . .

Okay, folks. So, I'm about to pack up my ol' laptop soon. Here are some things that I have learned over the semester:
  • Busy people may get things done, but those things may not be done well.
  • Plan, plan, plan.
  • Never schedule 3 conferences in one semester (again).
  • Sleeping pills, even if they are Advil PM, are EVIL!
  • Television, even if it contains only local channels, is EVIL!
  • Drunk people are not always pretty people. However, they are really easy to beat at air hockey!
  • Harry Potter plus foreign language readings skills = good times.
  • If you get sick, drop everything, and sleep for 14 hours. This is the greatest cure on earth!
  • The new Blogger is pretty freakin' cool.
  • Porn is traumatic. For everyone.
  • I heart my office mates. All of them!
  • Never let your weekly cleaning get out of control.
  • Flipping my sleep schedule = good idea for about 2 days, bad idea for 363 days.
I am so excited! For food, folks, and fun! And lots of food! And family! And snow!

Wait a minute. . . did I say snow? Yep. Surprisingly, Madison has had a warm spell since I've been here. This is strange. I can run around outside without a jacket for at least 10 minutes without getting frostbite. That is weird. Yet, Colorado got a huge blizzard. Very strange indeed! Sounds like the work of. . . .

duh duh duh. . .

Global Warming!

Be on the lookout everyone. This is bad news.

And with that, I bid you a farewell until I reach my final destination. . .
