Ugh

I finally have an opportunity to post! If this is any indication of how the summer has been, I can't wait to get back to school and relax!

• I am not a religious person, but I generally respect worship and religious practice. However, I have now converted to being a fundamental atheist and an intolerant jerk all thanks to my summer roommate. The hypocracy and domineering spirit of this roommate serves as a reminder of why I have never joined any church or religious group. I realize that she takes these things to an extreme, but she has completely turned me off from anyone in the religious right -- forever!!!
• She's also a terrifying control freak. I thought it was just me, but her persona silences everyone. I'm now typing away at my hotel room in Tucson because I'm terrified of her looming presence.
  
• My job feels like it has no end. One fellow became extremely ill, and I ended up with a ton of classes to teach in the past two weeks. When I wake up every morning, I think I have to go to work. When I teach, I teach like a robot. This is horrible.
• I really want to quit my job, but I am unable to. They shipped me to the desert on a horse with no name. Hell, I don't even have a horse with no name!
• I have no idea what day it is. I have to ask a 6 year old what day it is. That's just plain sad.

At any rate, I probably won't be able to post on my blog until I get out of "Dodge." So, here's to the last 2 weeks of this nightmare!
